Training days for station breeding teams

Over three days, we went back to the genetic gain and its levers, the selection schemes and the new technologies. The whole team was able to benefit from Michel’s advice and experience, to deepen and consolidate their knowledge and to consider ways to make our selection more efficient. The participants noted the quality of the training and the exchanges. If our selection methods are in phase with the selection objectives and the targeted market, the new technological approaches such as marker-assisted selection and haplo-diploidization open up new avenues of reflection in order to respond more quickly and more precisely to the demand.
